Presentation by Lyle Nyberg, Author. Lyle will discuss his book which explores a small tidal river that enters Massachusetts Bay between Boston and Plymouth. It is the first state-designated scenic river, brimming with history. It survived state-approved plans to dam the river and develop its extensive salt marshes. It is a history of this storied tidal river southeast of Boston, the people and towns connected with it, its marshes, and its environmental threats and promise for the future.
