Scott Moore and Erica Pisaturo, the husband-and-wife team behind Folk Electric, describe their ambitious new work “Wayfaring Stranger” as “a genre-bending, multi-sensory adventure: a kaleidoscopic journey through time, sound, and imagination.” Comprising a stellar cast of musicians from as far away as North Carolina and Kentucky, the band will take over Rockport’s celebrated concert hall to perform their hour-long opus, then migrate to the third floor for an afterparty set of unplugged (but just as electrifying) music, while surrounded by an array of brand new Folk Electric-inspired paintings by Matthew Billey and Loren Doucette.
