Meaghan was born into music and performing. Hailing from Harrisburg Pennsylvania, her parents performed in community theater and her dad taught music and theater for 30 + years. Meaghan would make her stage debut at 10 years old and continue performing throughout high school, eventually landing in New York City. There she studied Drama at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. After School, Meaghan performed in a sketch comedy group for several years, but most of her 20s were spent on drugs and alcohol. Meaghan woke up one morning and realized her addiction was taking away her life and talent. At 28 years old, Meaghan quit alcohol and drugs cold turkey, and within one month was writing songs for the very first time. And that was that.
Meaghan went on to release her very first album Waitress and two EP’s Seeing Clearly Now & East Coast Girl. Meaghan then had another life-changing moment when she faced mental health struggles of depression and anxiety. Those struggles led her to leave NYC after sixteen years and follow her newly opened eyes and heart all the way to Nashville, TN.
Her latest album Motherland was released in August 2024. Produced once more by Dan & Nate Monea, along with a special guest producer, Will Hoge. This hauntingly truthful and symphonic record proves to her fans that Meaghan is still “keeping it weird” and continues to be a safe space for ALL who come to see her perform.
