This year’s Art Auction exhibition is on display from Wednesday\, September 2nd until Saturday\, October 3rd. A ticketed auction party will be held on Saturday\, October 3rd\, from 4-8pm.\nOver 160 artworks are available for online silent auction bidding now until October 3rd @6pm. In the downstairs Sargent Gallery\, the exhibit includes NAA Member Artwork featuring photography\, mixed media\, sculpture\, oil\, acrylic and more. Upstairs in the Hartson Gallery is the Collector’s Collection – showcasing artwork donated from private collections\, including work by notable artists such as Harold Feinstein\, Cara Weston\, and Carlos Mérida. DESCRIPTION:Newburyport Art (NAA) presents three new shows opening in the month of May! \nSoft Structures is a group exhibition that explores fibers and fibrous material as process and metaphor. This exhibit features over 80 artworks in a variety of media including drawing\, painting\, sculpture\, weaving\, embroidery\, quilting\, collage\, mixed media and more.\nThis exhibit is on view in the first-floor Sargent Gallery and second-floor Hartson Gallery. \nFOLIA is a collaborative exhibition featuring works by Amesbury artists Amy Vander Els & Heather Karp. This exhibit explores the quiet beauty and joyful rhythm of leaves and the symbolic meaning behind many that speaks of perseverance\, resilience and hope. Thirty-six artworks are displayed amongst spring greenery in the first-floor Hills Gallery. Amy and Heather will give a free artist talk on Thursday\, May 21st from 6:00-7:00pm\, concluding with Q&A. \nThe 11th Annual Outdoor Sculpture Garden Exhibition debuted on May 1st\, and will remain on view year-round until April 2027. At nearly 3\,000 square feet\, the Range Lights Sculpture Garden resides behind the historic NAA and is seen and visited by hundreds of people every week. This year’s exhibition features 16 pieces by 10 local and regional artists. The participating artists include; Jeffrey Briggs\, Lindley Briggs\, Sarah Burns and Mike Platt\, Alexis Guieb-Alimbuyuguen\, Andrew Henschel\, Mae Kenny\, Evan Ralph\, Michael Updike and Raynor Warner. \nA reception for FOLIA and Soft Structures will be held on Saturday\, May 2nd from 4-6pm\, with the 11th Annual Sculpture Exhibit reception beginning at 3:00pm\, including a Best in Show award at 3:30pm. This exhibit explores the quiet beauty and joyful rhythm of leaves and the symbolic meaning behind many that speaks of perseverance\, resilience and hope. Thirty-six artworks are displayed amongst spring greenery in the first-floor Hills Gallery. Amy and Heather will give a free artist talk on Thursday\, May 21st from 6:00-7:00pm\, concluding with Q&A. \nThe 11th Annual Outdoor Sculpture Garden Exhibition debuted on May 1st\, and will remain on view year-round until April 2027. DESCRIPTION:Newburyport Art (NAA) invites artists\, members\, collectors\, friends\, and art lovers to gather for a celestial celebration of 25 years of creativity\, connection\, and community. This year’s Art Auction exhibition is on display from Wednesday\, September 2nd until Saturday\, October 3rd. A ticketed auction party will be held on Saturday\, October 3rd\, from 4-8pm.\nOver 160 artworks are available for online silent auction bidding now until October 3rd @6pm. In the downstairs Sargent Gallery\, the exhibit includes NAA Member Artwork featuring photography\, mixed media\, sculpture\, oil\, acrylic and more. Upstairs in the Hartson Gallery is the Collector’s Collection – showcasing artwork donated from private collections\, including work by notable artists such as Harold Feinstein\, Cara Weston\, and Carlos Mérida. DESCRIPTION:Newburyport Art (NAA) presents three new shows opening in the month of May! \nSoft Structures is a group exhibition that explores fibers and fibrous material as process and metaphor. This exhibit features over 80 artworks in a variety of media including drawing\, painting\, sculpture\, weaving\, embroidery\, quilting\, collage\, mixed media and more.\nThis exhibit is on view in the first-floor Sargent Gallery and second-floor Hartson Gallery. \nFOLIA is a collaborative exhibition featuring works by Amesbury artists Amy Vander Els & Heather Karp. This exhibit explores the quiet beauty and joyful rhythm of leaves and the symbolic meaning behind many that speaks of perseverance\, resilience and hope. Thirty-six artworks are displayed amongst spring greenery in the first-floor Hills Gallery. Amy and Heather will give a free artist talk on Thursday\, May 21st from 6:00-7:00pm\, concluding with Q&A. \nThe 11th Annual Outdoor Sculpture Garden Exhibition debuted on May 1st\, and will remain on view year-round until April 2027. At nearly 3\,000 square feet\, the Range Lights Sculpture Garden resides behind the historic NAA and is seen and visited by hundreds of people every week. This year’s exhibition features 16 pieces by 10 local and regional artists. The participating artists include; Jeffrey Briggs\, Lindley Briggs\, Sarah Burns and Mike Platt\, Alexis Guieb-Alimbuyuguen\, Andrew Henschel\, Mae Kenny\, Evan Ralph\, Michael Updike and Raynor Warner. \nA reception for FOLIA and Soft Structures will be held on Saturday\, May 2nd from 4-6pm\, with the 11th Annual Sculpture Exhibit reception beginning at 3:00pm\, including a Best in Show award at 3:30pm. DESCRIPTION:The Newburyport ArtWalk is a FREE\, self-guided tour that enables art enthusiasts to easily discover and explore Newburyport’s many wonderful art galleries. This interactive art tour guides participants on an art adventure through Newburyport’s Historic District and also includes a few hidden gems just beyond downtown. In conjunction with the ArtWalk\, many local galleries showcase special exhibitions\, host engaging art discussions and live demonstrations of techniques. The 2026 ArtWalk will be held on Saturday\, Oct. 3rd from 10am-5pm. Participants are: Alan Bull Studio; Metzy’s Cantina; CHALK Gallery; Threadneedle Gallery; Valerie’s Gallery ; Greetings by Design; New England Sketch Book; Newburyport Art; Blochaus Art Gallery; The Galleryon Federal; Chococoa Baking Co.; The Blue Lobster Print Studio and Gallery. \nEstablished in 2002 by a group of independent art gallery owners\, the ArtWalk has showcased original fine art cherished locally and respected throughout the national and international artist communities. The Newburyport ArtWalk features a broad range of art types and styles ranging from painting\, printmaking and sculpture to artisan creations\, photography and ceramics. This exhibit features over 80 artworks in a variety of media including drawing\, painting\, sculpture\, weaving\, embroidery\, quilting\, collage\, mixed media and more.\nThis exhibit is on view in the first-floor Sargent Gallery and second-floor Hartson Gallery. \nFOLIA is a collaborative exhibition featuring works by Amesbury artists Amy Vander Els & Heather Karp. This exhibit explores the quiet beauty and joyful rhythm of leaves and the symbolic meaning behind many that speaks of perseverance\, resilience and hope. Thirty-six artworks are displayed amongst spring greenery in the first-floor Hills Gallery. Amy and Heather will give a free artist talk on Thursday\, May 21st from 6:00-7:00pm\, concluding with Q&A. \nThe 11th Annual Outdoor Sculpture Garden Exhibition debuted on May 1st\, and will remain on view year-round until April 2027. At nearly 3\,000 square feet\, the Range Lights Sculpture Garden resides behind the historic NAA and is seen and visited by hundreds of people every week. This year’s exhibition features 16 pieces by 10 local and regional artists. The participating artists include; Jeffrey Briggs\, Lindley Briggs\, Sarah Burns and Mike Platt\, Alexis Guieb-Alimbuyuguen\, Andrew Henschel\, Mae Kenny\, Evan Ralph\, Michael Updike and Raynor Warner. \nA reception for FOLIA and Soft Structures will be held on Saturday\, May 2nd from 4-6pm\, with the 11th Annual Sculpture Exhibit reception beginning at 3:00pm\, including a Best in Show award at 3:30pm.
