SUMMARY:Halloween on Main Street (Plymouth)
DESCRIPTION:Halloween on Main Street is a fun\, family-friendly Trick-or-Treat event held in downtown Plymouth\, designed to provide a safe and welcoming environment for children and families to celebrate the Halloween season while supporting local businesses. During the event\, downtown merchants hand out treats to trick-or-treaters\, creating a walkable\, engaging experience that encourages families to visit and interact with local storefronts. To ensure public safety\, Main Street is closed to vehicular traffic from Leyden Street to Town Hall\, allowing families to enjoy the festivities without traffic concerns. Parking ban begins at 1:30pm and reopened at 5pm (subject to change). \nAs a true community-wide event\, Plymouth Police\, Fire\, and Department of Public Works are invited to participate\, further reinforcing safety\, accessibility\, and community engagement. Their presence enhances the family-friendly atmosphere and strengthens connections between residents\, businesses\, and municipal partners. Halloween on Main Street is a longtime favorite among local families\, attracting strong attendance each year. It offers meaningful exposure for downtown businesses\, promotes economic activity\, and celebrates Plymouth’s  vibrant downtown while providing a safe\, festive\, and inclusive seasonal tradition. \nFunding in part by the Town of Plymouth Promotional Fund.
