CapeFLYER

Spend The Day or Weekend on Cape Cod

Traveling to Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, or Nantucket can be tricky, especially on weekends and holidays during the summer. Major roadways such as Routes 3 & 495 as well as the Bourne and Sagamore Bridges can quickly get crowded with beachgoers overwhelming the roads.

Enjoy a relaxing train ride aboard the CapeFLYER from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend to the Monday of Labor Day weekend. This service is available Friday through Sunday throughout the summer, with additional days added to the schedule for Memorial Day Weekend, the 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekend, so you’ll avoid the worst traffic periods to get to Cape Cod and the Islands. CapeFLYER service starts at South Station and has stops in Braintree, Brockton, Middleborough/Lakeville, Wareham Village, Buzzards Bay, and Bourne. Extra coaches are added for holiday weekends for fast and comfortable travel accommodations. Riders can bring their bikes, pets and beach gear while they head to Hyannis, and enjoy refreshments from the café car.
