Weekends are made for leisurely outdoor adventures, and the Nashua River Rail Trail is steps away from the Ayer Commuter Rail Station. This accessible 11-mile trail is open to biking, walking, and rollerblading. Bring a lunch or grab something to eat at one of the nearby restaurants and bakeries, and remember to keep the trails beautiful by bringing back any trash you carry in. Bikes are allowed on weekend Commuter Rail trains at the conductor’s discretion, so get out and explore a new-to-you trail this weekend! As always kids 11 and under ride for free.
