As a follow-up to our Intro to Beekeeping Workshop in March (you do not have to have attended the mark workshop to attend this one!) beekeeper\, Kevin O’Donnell of Kevin’s Honey Farm\, will lead you through the basics of Beekeeping\, including an outdoor beehive demonstration\, in this 1.5 hour workshop. This program is geared towards beginners\, but all skill levels are welcome to join. This workshop will held OUTSIDE in the Community Garden. Pre-Registration is required. \nWorkshop times: 10am – Workshop Fee: $25 – Members get a 15% discount on all workshops. – Support the farm and become a member today.

We always get wonderful donations from other members as well. \n– We will have all kinds of garden starts\, annuals\, and more. We will have more veggie garden starts this year\, and are working on some native flower starts as well grown here at Soule. Seedlings usually sell out quickly. We accept cash or card.

DESCRIPTION:Put on your boots and head to Soule Homestead! Our farm friendly story hour is back after a winter break and we couldn’t be more excited. Come meet an animal or learn about a wild animal at our center\, hear a story\, and make a craft. This program is geared towards ages 2-5 but siblings are always welcome. \nFirst Farm Fun is an hour long drop-in program\, no pre-registration is needed. Bring a blanket for story time or enjoy the grass. Feel free to bring a lunch to stay and picnic after the program wraps up at 11am. Restrooms\, water fountain\, and baby changing station located in the barn. \nSoule Homestead is an organic working farm. We require that all guests big and small wear shoes at all time and bug spray is encouraged.
