DESCRIPTION:As the keyboardist for the legendary Boston band and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers\, The Cars\, Greg Hawkes forged the sound of rock’s New Wave. Pioneering and pushing the limits of technology and sequencing in the late ’70s and through the ’80s\, Greg cemented the synthesizer’s place in rock and pop music\, and his contribution has influenced countless artists since. Along with achieving Rock & Roll Hall of Fame status and massive commercial success with The Cars\, Greg has been a sought-after session and touring musician\, and has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney\, Todd Rundgren\, and The Turtles. \nThe Cars were named Best New Artist in the 1978 Rolling Stone Readers’ Poll. The band’s debut album\, The Cars\, sold six million copies and appeared on the Billboard 200 album chart for 139 weeks. The Cars had four Top 10 hits: “Shake It Up” (1981)\, “You Might Think\,” (1984)\, “Drive” (1984)\, and “Tonight She Comes” (1985). The band won Video of the Year for “You Might Think” at the first MTV Video Music Awards in 1984 \nIn 2016\, Greg collaborated with the acclaimed Boston band Eddie Japan to produce their 2017 album Golden Age. Brian has consistently focused on creating and recording original music. He dropped his newest release in May of 2024 “Live At The Fallout Shelter Set 1” with “Live At The Fallout Shelter Set 2” slated to be released July 5th\, 2024. Both of these albums were recorded live on 12/30/23 in Norwood\, MA and are an authentic presentation of what Brian does live on a nightly basis. These albums are follow ups to his debut solo album “On The Bone” released in 2023 to rave reviews. He also recently collaborated with longtime friend Jared Sims to release the Duo chrome album “Sky View” . In addition to these recording projects\, Brian and Alex Lee-Clark have released five albums with the mighty BT ALC Big Band\, including the most recent one” Hearing The Truth” released in April of 2023. SUMMARY:King Yellowman
DESCRIPTION:Jamaica’s first dancehall superstar\, Yellowman ushered in a new era in reggae music following Bob Marley’s death. His early-’80s success brought the popularity of toasting — the reggae equivalent of rapping — to a whole new level\, and helped establish dancehall as the wave of the future. For better or for worse\, he also epitomized dancehall’s penchant for “slack” lyrics — that is\, casual violence\, sexism\, homophobia\, and general rudeness. Graphic sexuality was his particular forte\, reaching levels of explicitness previously unheard in Jamaica. It brought him numerous detractors\, but it was also a big reason for his early popularity. There was more to it than that\, though; Yellowman was one of the most verbally nimble toasters of his time\, with a loose\, easy flow\, a talent for improvisation\, and a definite wit in his wordplay. Plus\, all the boasting about his prowess on the mic or in the bedroom had to be over the top to be convincing: true to his stage name\, Yellowman is an albino\, which carries a tremendous social stigma in Jamaica. His rise to stardom was unlikely enough\, but his transformation from untouchable outcast into sex symbol was staggering — and may not even have taken place without his trademark lewdness. Shocking though it could be\, it affirmed him as a sexual being just like his listeners\, and was delivered with enough humor to let the audience know that he didn’t take himself too seriously. Bouts with cancer pushed him into more thoughtful\, socially conscious territory in the 1990s\, but his initial style remains the most influential\, paving the way for countless dancehall toasters to follow. He remained quiet through most of the 2000s before mounting a comeback with 2019’s\nNo More War.

In addition\, she has been invited to iconic stages nationwide including The Fillmore SF\, The Orpheum LA\, Sweetwater Music Hall\, The Hamilton\, and even celebrated her 18th birthday with a set on the Prudential stage at Bottlerock Napa festival. One of the most iconic moments of her rising career: she was entrusted to play the legendary guitar known as “Alligator” — once wielded by Jerry Garcia. That honor\, courtesy of Grateful Guitars Foundation\, has become a defining chapter in Bella’s journey and Guitar Player magazine recently recognized her as one of the players “keeping the Dead alive” alongside Jeff Mason (Dark Star Orchestra) and Tom Hamilton (JRAD) in an article from May 2025.

SUMMARY:The Meditations
DESCRIPTION:The Meditations – Ansel Cridland\, Danny Clarke and Winston Watson collectively known asThe Meditations\, recorded their first hit single Woman is Like a Shadow in 1974 at Channel One Recording Studio. The group made it’s mark and sealed their place as reggae legends withthe release of the first two albums Message From The Meditations and Wake up produced by Dobby Dobson. Soon after came the third album Guidance produced by Ansel Cridland.\nKnown the world over as Jamaica’s legendary harmony trio\, The Meditations captured the hearts of reggae fans around the world. This led to collaborations with Lee Scratch Perry. Scratch\, who produced for Bob Marley and the Wailers\, asked them to do back up vocals for Punky Reggae Party\, featuring Bob on led vocals. Bob Marley was so pleased with their harmony that he went in search for the group to do more back up vocals for him. It is said by many that “The Meditation is Bob Marley’s favorite group\,” which led to Bob requesting harmony and background vocals on songs like Rastaman Live Up and Blackman Redemption. The Meditations harmonic vocals can be heard on some of your favorite track such as\, Bongo Man Youths Them A Cry by Jimmy Cliffs\, Mr. Cop by Gregory Isaacs\, to name a few. In 1983 Linval Thompson produced The Meditations fourth album No More Friends. On this album all the lead vocals were sung by Ansel Cridland. Meanwhile Danny Clarke and Winston Watson later released For The Good Of Man. After some time separated Ansel begin to put the group back together with the release of Return Of The Meditations produced by Ansel in 1993 on Heartbeat record label.\nAnsel followed up producing and releasing Ghetto Knowledge on the Easy Star label in 1999\, then Stand In Love on his own label Meditations Music in 2004. As of late he as gone on to collaborate with yet another great Philip Smart for his latest album Dangerous Society\, which was released jointly by Meditations Music and Philip Smart in 2011. Ansel is a dedicated musician writing\, producing and releasing albums\, and still touring with the addition of DaddyLion Chandell and Toussaint Webb on harmony.
