The Plymouth Public Library is pleased to announce our upcoming 3rd Annual Local Author Fair showcasing the talent and creativity of published authors and celebrating the vibrant literary community of Southeastern Massachusetts. This outdoor event offers a unique opportunity for authors to engage directly with readers, promote their work, and participate in short readings.
Scheduled for May 30, 2026, the Local Author Fair and live readings will take place on the front lawn of the library from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Our submission period for authors begins February 2, 2026.
The fair is open exclusively to authors of reading material intended for adults and older young adults. Applications for interested authors will be available at the Reference Desk, the Manomet Branch Library and on our website. The deadline for submitting completed applications is March 6, 2026. Authors are encouraged to review the application for detailed rules and regulations. Authors will be notified of acceptance by April 3, 2026.
