Beethoven’s Triumphant Eroica Symphony (Braintree)

Opening Night 2026 features ASO’s extraordinary musicians playing one of Beethoven’s boldest, most exhilarating compositions – Symphony No. 3 (Sinfonia Eroica or The Heroic Symphony).

Beethoven’s Third Symphony revolutionized music, launching the Romantic era in 1804. Featuring a solemn funeral march and a triumphant finale, it is sweeping and, as the title says, heroic. It provides a spectacular showcase for our musicians and surrounds the audience with gorgeous melodies.

ASO is also excited to present international concert violinist and recording artist Miclen LaiPang playing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto.
