We need your help. If we’re going to save what remains of the globally-rare Massachusetts Coastal Pine Barrens, we need to raise awareness of its beauty, familiarize folks with its unique species and natural features, and coordinate the efforts of like-minded organizations in the region. That’s what we’ve been doing for almost two decades, but as you know it’s gotten a little tougher in the last few years. Grants are harder to come by. Development is ‘chewing the scenery.’ And the cost of running our Center at 158 Center Hill Road is increasing every day.
That’s why we decided to toot our own horn at this special event, which will feature the species artwork of local artist Heidi Mayo, offer insights into four key conservation efforts we are involved in today, and raise money to keep the lights on and the doors open.
We’re also happy to say that any donations made from now until November 15 will be matched – up to $10,000!
So sign up now (only 50 ‘seats’ available) Here or on the Event Website, or just send a donation directly to: SEMPBA, 158 Center Hill Road, Plymouth.
