Firefly Frolic (Middleborough)

July 8 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Experience the Magic of Soule Homestead with our Summertime Firefly Frolic! Join us Wednesday July 8th for a family-friendly adventure to learn about fireflies at Soule Homestead. Children can make a firefly craft. We will learn some fantastic firefly facts, and then we will all walk down around the farm to experience the wonder of fireflies.

Participants must bring flashlights (phones don’t cut it) to help us to navigate around the farm.

Advanced ticket purchase REQUIRED for this event. Register Here or on the Event Website.

This walk may not be suitable for all—the roads are not flat or even and it is dark. Appropriate footwear is strongly required.

We will have a bonfire and s’mores for sale, weather permitting. (If we cannot have the bonfire we will refund s’mores tickets unless you’d like to make it a donation to our nonprofit.)

Note: This will be a casual, slow-paced walk with an emphasis on identification and observation. Participants are encouraged to wear walking/hiking shoes and to wear bug spray.
