Step back in time and get creative with clay! In this hands-on workshop, participants will follow a provided pattern to construct their own tiny clay house, modeled after the simple homes the Pilgrims built in 1620. The pattern will guide the building process, ensuring a sturdy structure, but there’s still room to add personal touches and details that make each house unique.
Once complete, these charming little houses can even be used as incense burners. After the workshop, the pieces will be carefully dried, fired, glazed, and fired again. Finished houses will be ready for pickup in about four weeks.
Join us for a unique blend of history and artistry—where tradition provides the framework, and creativity adds the finishing touch. Finished products are roughly 3 inches and will make an excellent, one-of-a-kind gift. This workshop is geared toward adults.
