Waves of History – Meet Salt! (Scituate)

Continuing the Waves of History series at the Maritime and Irish Mossing Museum, and the Summer Special Events – REV 250 to Present.

Meet Salt: A life size, 43-foot long inflatable humpback whale, courtesy of the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.

In conjunction with the Heritage Days Open House on August 9, Stellwagen volunteers will walk you through Salt and offer information on whale biology and behavior. Other museum exhibits, photo spot and interactive displays are available that day.

An airlock provides a safe way for participants in wheelchairs or who need assistance to enter Salt.

Free to all Patron Members, children and military

$5 per adult

Free Parking onsite and at the MBTA Driftway lot.
